we’re in the middle of cutting vocals for “humble plea”, a song about being desperate, at the end of yourself, where you realize YOU CAN’T FIX THIS.
“here’s my humble plea, take all that’s in me, and let it be yours for your glory. cause you are all i need, so take all that’s in me, and let it be yours for you glory.”
that being said, let me paint the backdrop for you on this vocal take: we’re all tired, it’s late, people are getting sick, the vocal is just not happening how we’d like it to, and the reality is time is precious on this project and we don’t have a lot of time to go in vocal booths and come up empty. pretty ironic…
